Leaders of the Civil War

Several leaders emerged during the Civil War, that made a difference in the Civil War. For the North (Union)- President Abraham Lincoln, General Grant, and William Sherman lead the Union Army. In the South (Confederate), President Jefferson Davis, General Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson led the Confederate Army. These great leaders met on the battle fields fields of the Civil War that ended up being the bloodest war ever fought .
